Who Writes Anymore?
The truly bizarre thing is that I just had a conversation about this topic with my ex, while we were at a student conference for my daughter this past week. Both kids seem to have inherited my own sloppy, carefree handwriting. My response when she complained that the kids need to improve their handwriting was, “Who writes anymore?” I can’t remember the last time I wrote more than a few sparse notes during a meeting. Normally I type and I’m sure it has effected my handwriting negatively!
So, when Lisa posted this meme, well I had to try it for myself! The results are mixed, but accurate on some points. Interesting!

What’s ironic is that I can mirror write and my son is both dyslexic and dysgraphic. His handwriting is barely legible. Luckily, we really don’t have to hand write things out much in this day and age.

I used to have quite distinct and neat handwriting, but as of late, my handwriting just sucks.
I hate that I can’t write like I used to, but thank goodness for computers. At least I can pick out fancy fonts. :x)

I quite often hand write stuff. I take notes, write stories even, sometimes blog posts. My handwriting is definitely getting grotty, though.
