A Taste of Spring
Today was a beautiful day in Seattle. It was shirt sleeve weather (well for us, probably still cold if you’re used to warmer temperatures), the skies were blue, the sun was shining. It’s also starting to stay light out a little later. I can go out in the evening and it’s not pitch black at 4:30pm any more. A friend stopped by and dragged me out to lunch, which was nice. I tend to hole up during the week, I’ll go days without ever poking my head out the door sometimes. That’s probably not a good thing.
Then this afternoon I wrote a check to my bank paying off a loan and freeing up some much needed monthly cash flow. That will be nice. After I was done working for the day I decided to take the car to get it washed and vacuumed and then decided to head over to Fry’s to browse Mac software. As I was pulling in I saw another friend walking through the parking lot so we browsed around the store a while and then had dinner.
Given that the number of people that know me well enough to get involved in a spontaneous meal with me are vanishingly small, it was quite an odd coincidence. And one of the most pleasant days I’ve had recently. I also note that the forecast for this weekend is nice and sunny. I think a motorcycle ride is in the cards.

Enjoy the Thrill of the ride.
Seems like our weather is reversing with yours. Today it’s 70 ~ this weekend barely out of the 40s.

Yay for paying off loans, that is going to be nice this time next month!
Sunshine? Shirtsleeves? I’m envious!
I hope you get to hop on the motorcycle this weekend.
Hey, we’re reading each other’s blogs at the same time! Spooky.
Fry’s… I was JUST there a week ago where I scored a scanner/printer combo that ended up being on sale$60 cheaper than Amazon!

I hate shopping, but a visit to Fry’s is always an adventure. Techno-geek heaven
Ooo…I’m jealous. We’ve still got about nine months to go on one of our loans!
But congrats to you on the loan AND the motorcycle ride this weekend! Ahhhh, sweet freedom!
What a perfect day you had! I’m envious of the spring-like weather everyone seems to be having! We’re getting yet another forecast for the weekend that includes the words ‘winter storm.’ I’m doing my best to think postive, but it’s getting old!
Enjoy your weekend! Hope you get the ride in.
