Imagine my surprise when I checked my e-mail a while ago and saw a note from the Seattle P-I. “Ho ho, what kind of scam e-mail is this?” I wondered. Turns out, not a scam at all. Just a polite note letting me know that they had selected one of my photos as their 2007-2008 reader-submitted photo of the year! A pleasant surprise I can assure you.
It’s currently featured in their gallery of other top photos from the year.

Congrats, right when I saw your image, I remember when you submitted it. The angle and timing were fantastic! Congrats. I was surprised mine was number two, it seems so simple compared to all the dramatic and stunning images that like yours and that followed. Good work!

Very well deserved recognition. You take awesome photos.
I have had a couple of my photos published on the KING5 Weatherpics page, but they aren’t as good as yours. Takes not only a lot of patience, but a lot of planning, too.

That’s awesome! Congratulations! You take do take awesome pictures, I think all of your bike pictures are great as well, I love to see the bike and the scenery you ride in. Hopefully, the wife and I will make it to Seattle sometime in the next few years (her sis has rental prop there) and we can go on a photo safari with the other seattleans.
