Random Synapses Firing
Don’t look for any kind of thread or plot in this post, you won’t find one! Today you get “stream of consciousness” blogging!
It was nice being able to slouch around the house in sweats today. Oh I worked, but since I didn’t have to go out I didn’t bother getting dressed beyond the basics. I did shave and eventually, I even combed my hair.
I spent a good chunk of the day trying to regain access to my blog. Apparently someone tried to hack one or both of my blogs last night. The attempt was detected and my access was locked to prevent any compromise. That part was great, getting it sorted out took a little work. Still, security is a good thing.
Speaking of blogs, I did tweak the layout here a bit yesterday. Nothing major, just simplifying and streamlining. Still contemplating upgrading to Wordpress 2.5 next week. I’ve got a test install up and running, trying to decide if I want to flatten this blog and start fresh or attempt an upgrade installation and preserve the old posts.
Chicken, pineapple and black olives isn’t necessarily a winning combination when it comes to pizza. Don’t judge me! It sounded good when I ordered it. And in truth, it wasn’t awful it was just… strange.

Random blogging rocks. Green and black olive and green pepper pizza is also not a winning combination. I should have realized that by sight alone. Alas…
Random works for me!
The pizza does sound…interesting.
I am a bit wary of 2.5 for WP–heard a few horror stories.
I like pineapple, but have found that it always ruins a good pizza, no matter what you combine it with. It just doesn’t belong on pizza. I know this is highly controversial.
I’m working from home in sweats today myself. I have NOT combed my hair.
I like the new format. The comments on the sidebar… I was so intrigued by what Sandra may have thought pineapple always ruins that I just had to click the comments… what?? What?? Pineapple always ruins… a good bar mitzvah? A good nap? A good turkey sandwich?
I now am craving pizza.
I deserve it. After putting up with foggy peepers for 3 days.
The hacker thing is scary.
Should I worry about my blog? Seems so random.

Turns out it wasn’t a hacking attempt after all, but rather one of my plug-ins doing something the server *thought* was a hacking attempt. We figured that out today after I was locked out a second time in as many days. All sorted out now though with excellent support from my host, Blogs About.
Oh wow, I’m glad you explained your “hacker” situation! That would have freaked me out if someone had broken into my blog!
