Fort Hood by Mike Doughty
And it is shining in Seattle. Summer has finally arrived! The last few days have been gorgeous.
I stumbled over this video this morning doing research for a writing/photography gig later this summer. I wangled an editorial assignment to cover the Bumbershoot for a web-based outlet. I’ve applied for my press credentials, hopefully that goes smoothly!
Mike Doughty is one of the artists I’m most looking forward to seeing. Also Flobots and The Offspring. Did I mention that William Gibson is going to be there as part of their literary program?
I can’t wait!
OK, I am starting to get a complex. I’m not there and look at the great weather you’re having.
Oh how fun! I can’t wait to see your report on this one! I don’t think I ever made it to a Bumbershoot Festival.
I missed out on a lot of stuff when I was out there. Hopefull this time around (crosses fingers that I make it out there again) I’ll be able to get it all in.

It was an awesome weekend. Summer around here usually doesn’t start until July 5th, so it was great. Let’s hope it sticks around a while.
